10 Victoria Memorial
Kolkata, known previously as Calcutta, the Indian capital is home for the great hall of Victoria Memorial that was mainly built for and named after Queen Victoria. The final stages in the building of this hall was accomplished in 1920 when this great mansion glittered in marble.
9 Nalanda University
In Bihar, he Nalenda University used to be one of the best universities in the ancient world. The architecture of the university added to its rank, so to say. What is so amazing is that the Indian government did not ignore it to end in ruins. Instead they decided in 2014 to revive it and add to the ancient buildings another bunch with the Indian architectural touch. They have the intention of making it a top-notch university academically. 8 Konark Sun Temple
In 1250 AD, the Sun temple was built for the Indian god Surya- the sun. The idea of its architecture is genius as the temple itself is built to look like a chariot and the wheels on both sides are sundials for calculating time.

3 Harmandir Sahib
