Husky Pomeranian dog is a hybrid of two breeds which are Siberian Husky and Pomeranian. What comes out from mixing these two breeds is called Husky Pomeranian Mix or another name which is “Pomsky” that is shorter to be easily used. Pomsky dogs carry the characteristics of the two breeds from which they come. You will notice that the characteristics of one breed will dominate the other one and this appears in the shape and size of the new breed.

The head and muzzle of a Pomsky look like those of a Husky while the Pomsky’s size comes to be more like that of a Pomeranian than that of a Husky, so you can find it to be small or medium-sized. For those who like dogs with thick coat, the Pomsky dogs are covered with a thick or double coat since they come from two breeds with thick coat also to suit the place and cold weather in which they live as they come from the Arctic area which is known for its extremely cold weather.

A Pomsky dog is an intelligent and energetic dog, it needs exercise and it is enough to take it for walking, playing or running with you daily, some of the Pomskies come to be like Pomeranian dogs who are not good at playing with young children and they need to be brushed regularly and more than just one time every week because of their double coat that needs extra care.

They are like their ancestors from which they come as they depend in their food on vegetables, whole grains and protein for strengthening their health.
