Technology is always amazing and stun us with what it presents everyday. Robots are among the most technological inventions that are common nowadays and attract the attention of most of the people if it is not all of them. They are very useful and have begun to be used in many fields and places such as factories, hospitals and even in home for performing housework. Robots are used to perform difficult tasks that are dangerous to be done by humans. They have become more humanoid to act like humans and they are developed to be autonomous which means to direct themselves. Robots are now more flexible than they were before to the extent that they can dance better than some human people. We present to you some of the robots that can dance Gangnam Style in a perfect way and that may come one day to teach humans how to dance.

For those who do not know what is “gangnam style”, it is a Korean song that is presented by a South Korean musician who is called PSY and he presents the song with dancing. The song which has recently appeared has become very popular among people.

1. Charli-2

Our first dancer is Charli-2 which is presented by the engineer Dennis Hong in Virginia Tech. This robot is one of the humanoid robots that are very flexible. It is especially designed for a military purpose which is firefighting on board the ship and for taking part in the United States Navy. It has the ability to climb the stairs, to move easily in narrow passages and they are developed to be able to interact with the human team on the ship especially the leader to respond to the commands and to understand the human language and gestures. Charli is also developed to be more autonomous which means to direct itself in some specific situations. The purpose of making Charli dance is to test and show its ability to move the parts of its body easily without any problem,maintain its balance and that it is perfect to be used on board the ship. New researches are done to design its son ASH.

2. Nao robot

Our second dancer which looks more handsome than the others. It is presented by the French company Aldebaran Robotics. This humanoid robot is very flexible and also developed to be autonomous.

3. mRobo

It looks like a boss or a bodyguard. The robot is presented by TOSY Robotics JSC® which manufactures robotics and high tech toys.  It is a speaker or songs player that can also dance in a perfect and flexible way that is very funny. It can folds itself to look very small.
