◘ In order to track your lost Android phone, you have to go to the Android Device Manager through using a web browser or through any other Android device after downloading the Android Device Manager app to it.
◘ Enter your password to sign in to your Google account which is the same account that you use on your lost Android device.
◘ The Android Device Manager will locate your lost Android device and you will see the last known location on the map. It will also show you the details of your lost device.
◘ After locating your lost Android device, there are several options that will appear to you to allow you to remotely deal with your lost device and control it.
◘ You can choose “Ring” to make your Android phone emit a sound that can be heard if it is near you, “Lock” to lock your Android device and send a message for calling you and the last option is “Erase” which is the last resort since it allows you to remotely erase all the data on your lost Android phone when you lose hope to get your Android phone back again.
► What can you do to track your lost Samsung phone?
◘ In order to track your lost Samsung phone, you have to use “Find My Mobile” that also requires having a Samsung account. Your Samsung account can only be created when you have your Samsung phone in your hand before losing it.
◘ Go to the Samsung website to open “Find My Mobile” and sign in through using your Samsung account which is the same account that you always use on your lost Samsung phone.
◘ Locate your lost Samsung phone through clicking “Locate my device” in the menu that appears on the left. A map will appear to show you the last known location of your lost Samsung phone.
